Classic Hot Date Seed Coffee

Brew date seed coffee as you would regular coffee. Add sweetener if desired and enjoy.

Ingredients

2 tsp date seed coffee (ground and roasted date seeds)

1 cup hot water (about 90–95°C / 195–203°F)

Honey or sweetener (optional)

Instructions

Boil the water

Heat 1 cup of water until it’s just below boiling point.

Add the date seed coffee

Place 2 teaspoons of ground date seed coffee into a French press, coffee maker, or pour-over filter.

Brew it

Pour the hot water slowly over the grounds. Let it steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your coffee.

Strain and serve

If using a French press, press down slowly. If using a filter, let it drip fully.

Sweeten (optional)

Add honey, sugar, or your preferred sweetener to taste.

Enjoy warm
