Spiced Date Seed Coffee

Brew date seed coffee. Add spices while hot, stir well, and sip slowly.

Ingredients

2 tsp date seed coffee (ground and roasted date seeds)

1 cup hot water (about 90–95°C / 195–203°F)

A pinch of cinnamon, cardamom, or nutmeg (or a mix of all)

Honey or sweetener (optional)

Instructions

Boil the water

Heat 1 cup of water until it’s just below boiling point.

Add the coffee

Place 2 teaspoons of date seed coffee into a French press, coffee maker, or filter.

Brew it

Pour the hot water slowly over the grounds. Let it steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your coffee.

Spice it up

While the coffee is still hot, add a pinch of your chosen spice(s). Stir well to blend the flavors.

Sweeten (optional)

Add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste.
